If you're interested in restoration of a 930 and you want to get accurate information on how it was originally done at the factory where do you go to obtain this information?
Just an example: I'm looking for correct Fuchs for my 76 930. It was manufactured 01/76. So the rims obviously are dated prior to that. But what happened at the factory? Were the rims stock piled so all four may have different dates? Or did they have constant fresh patches? Should the fronts date match each other but not necessarily the back? That's just an example and may sound trivial to some, but this is the type of information that intrigues me. Does anyone know where to get this type of historical information? |

Here is a start, I have been looking for the same place.
930's now remind me of early S's eight years ago. There was this transformation from being sought after by those that could not afford a new Porsche to those that could afford the new Porsche. 930 Turbo Carrera - FerrariChat.com |
