I told the shop to get it all right no matter the cost... There was 1 guy in the shop that had experience but he left I think. that's what happened.

I think , you better off with new ( rebuilt) harness . Will cost less and look much better.
Dennis makes them like new.

I will renew this and have it all original! How can I get to Dennis?
Thanks for your input.

Hi Mark!

That's just what the car does! :-)
For now I'm just trying to fix the wiring so the next time it has to go to the garage (5 of August) they can start looking for the mechanical stuff.
Together with the guy's here on pelican I will get the Wiring done! Only a new wire harness can make it perfect but while waiting for that I'm learning.

Checked, all good! well ones it is... :-)

my first thought is you sound pretty competent so why send it to a mech in the first place.

i would be afraid something has fallen down into the turbo keeping it from spinning.

the only other way for no boost is a big air leak. just go thru the intake starting at the turbo, up pipe IC etc.

once you figure the boost out, go back and start with fuel pressures, timing, ignition then mixture.

I'm having my own business so short in time. I'm not the best mechanic but I know when I'm wrong and then I stop and find help instead of guessing...

When I first bought the car it did not run but all was original so finding one problem can be hard not to mention if you have more of them...

Two connectors hanging loose?
Does someone know where it's used for?
There's one in the left and one in the right side of the engine bay.

I have a new housing to change that old one but it was not leaking.

Those connectors are for the emission system probably, maybe the one on the passenger side is for the A/C. I say probably after looking at your wiring mess. Is your emission system still there? What year car?

I don't think I have that. It's a 77 but model 78.
No AC to.
It's summer out here in Brussels so hope to get it fixed soon ☆
Thanks for helping me out with this one!

On my '87, one of the two connectors goes to the emissions control swithcover electrical solenoid/valve that directs fresh air from the smog pump to either the air injection nozzles at the exhaust port during cold start or to the catalytic convertor after warmup. The other controls vacuum from the intake manifold (I think), through a thermal vacuum valve to the dual pot ignition distributor for fast idle (advanced ignition timing) during cold start. Both electrical solenoid/valves look to be the same part number.
I don't know if yours is the same but it may be.
