Lots of 12 cylinder Ferraris used that system. Even early Testarossas.
About the only thing I can think of that would suck more than CIS is CIS x2. |

Hey, there's an idea. Let's see the first person adapt two CIS fuel distributors to a 930. Talk about over fueling.....
But I guess if you've got 12 cylinders, then it must make sense. The only problem would be keeping both cylinder banks exactly fueled all the time. Kind of like my old '72 Targa with mechanical fuel injection. All those linkages and individual throttle bodies had to be precisely balanced....a PITA but when properly tuned, she rocked!
