Your work looks great. Question, what the heck are doing to that engine shroud?
edit: I built a similar splitter on my old 930 and picked up on the outer most front torsion bar mount bolts. The bolts are canted at a bit of an angle as you noticed while doing your pan rebuild, but a couple bushings and longer bolts took care of this. Last edited by Jim2; 08-24-2014 at 08:30 PM.. |

The rear oil cooler is replaced with 993 oil console/filter. So we are flattening it out, the duct isn't needed.

I might add a flat stainless steel tow hook/ring off of those front suspension bolts too.

Looking good!
I took the easy way out and got the non-oil cooler shroud from Damon Josz @ Series 900. While you have the steering rack out, pull off the pinion gear cover and check the grease. Mine was hard as a rock, so it was time for a disassemble, clean and re-grease.
