Cold Start issue during the Summer
Just curious if any fellow Pelicans have cold start issues during the summer? My car usually starts right away, but seems to be finicky during the hot summer months and can take several tries to get her going. I'd imagine this is a CIS related issue but would appreciate any comments or advice.

Describe "hard to start". Does the engine chug to life, take a few hits of the key to fire, fire then die, or crank long before firing then has a low idle?

The car will crank for a long period of time and sometimes not start. When it finally starts it will have a low idle until I give it a couple of throtle blips. This issue only occurs during the hot Texas summer.

It sounds like the CCP is too high (lean). In the winter the slightly high pressure would be masked by the cold start injector adding fuel. Check the CCP and see if it is in spec.
