Fuchs date stamp-same year?
Looking for a set a Fuchs for my 84, 930, set for sale locally ( have the fox triangle and a date of 84).
Question is: Would the correct stamp be 84 ? Or 83 -the build year? Or perhaps even older? Thanks again fellas |

Knowing the Month and Year that your '84 930 was built is important.
Fuchs are also dated in the week they were built not just the year. They carry 4 digit codes. For example, a wheel with 5083 would be built in December '83, specifically the 50th week of '83. The wheel dates run somewhere from 2-3 months earlier than the assembly date on the car. Usually you will find 930's with closely varying date codes on the 4 wheels. .
