Is a Ducktail enough to hold the back down at the sort of speeds this beast is capable of? I would have thought at the very least a whale tail would have been needed or a wing on struts like a GT3RS.

For this car I think the bigger issue will be at lower speeds rather than at top speed i.e. getting traction when it comes on boost in 1st and 2nd when there is not enough airflow and therefore downforce.

If that thing doesn't achieve 4-digit hp, it's time to close shop.
We all know it will with some moderate boost.

But we have to be cautious with how much we make. There is greatly conflicting information on how much the G64 transaxle and front differential can withstand.

Yah, but when it comes to boost you have a different interpretation of the word "moderate" than most

No, very soon.
Have to make some adjustments to the turbo system to accommodate the backdate bodywork. Also due to the unique one-year-only 1989 bellhousing, we have to make another modification in order to accept a later version clutch which is much stronger yet has normal moderate pedal effort.

Gorgeous work. What is the volume of the plenums, I'm assuming 2L minimum? It looks like the air enters the main plenum through a slot similar to the dual plenums used on the old Audi rally cars? Much better for even distribution vs. just coming in on the end.
