Starting procedure decal
Hi,
I've got this all important decal, but dont know where they fitted them originally, and I am afraid that the MOT guys wont be able to start the engine and the car will fail . Can anybody shed some light on this issue? Thanks in advance!

My guess is it was used upon introduction of the CIS just after carburetors. With a carb, if you don't hit the gas you don't start the car for the most part.....

I don't have that sticker on my car, but my guess is that it was placed on the driver side visor next to the little mirror.

I have found only this pic, and I cant identify the location. Somewhere I read that it was a "window" sticker, maybe only left there for the showroom and removed upon selling the car
.

It's on the glove box. Never seen one on a turbo either http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911-technical-forum/486142-decal-right-place.html#post4785863 ![]()
