I don't really care for the rwb dually look myself, but I really liked the silver martini delivery and the black 964 long hood that t/k was involved with.I also like the passion that I see from all the builds he does.I have been into cars for along time & I have never seen hundreds of people gather to watch a build.I think just that alone is really cool.

Will look something like this I imagine. This did look good to me a few years ago but now...not so sure...

I like it but it's first blush only being a 930 wanna be.

I think many of the RWB's are exaggerated, and awesome.
Nakai has apparently reached a level where he is exposed to purists and public opinion. I see a man with skills a wee bit better than some of us and dedication a whole lot higher than most of us. Market seems to tell us that he is onto something. Fake or not, I like it , I like it a lot.

I really like the outrageous RWB looks and we have supplied a lot of exhaust systems to them, however I could not do that to an '89 930. There are too many 4spd drivers out there that could be donors. When all is said and done these (RWB) cars will have a very narrow niche as used vehicles so I cannot see ever getting anything close to your money back when you sell. It's got to be a passion thing.

i don't know what RWB is but if you are going to cut up a 930, why not just do a 911 and put a another motor in it?

Oh, and to this quoted comment. My ex went from C to D. Yeah, hard to tell. Her friend went A to D. Yeah, felt like balloons under skin. Not my taste, but some guys love them! |

For the record, I'd do his widest kit with smooth, grafted fenders in a heartbeat.
I heart those! It's the bolt on stuff I don't care for. |

lol @ the 'real if you can touch em' comment - classic!
however I too *loathe* the fakies. Maybe it's b/c my wife's naturally stacked. BBBBBBBbbbbbbbbBBBBBBBBbBbbBBbbbbbBBBB... 8-) and while I like some (some) RWB's and cutting up good cars is not ideal but understandable... doing it to an '89 is kindasorta dumb. IMO, which means - bubkiss. Sooooooooo... |

And if that Speedhunters bit on the '89 Turbo wasn't controversial enough...
A Dubai owner is (supposedly) going to do this to a super low mile yellow 1994 Turbo S. Yes, a 1994 Turbo S. "I want something nobody has." Mister, you have that already: a super low mile yellow 1994 Turbo S! Those have production numbers similar to 250 GTOs. The old remark about wealth and taste...

In The Build: 3 RWBs In 6 Days - Speedhunters
According to this article the owner has rethought his decision on putting the 930 under the knife.
