930 exhaust options?
Hey all,
Not looking to do anything major but would like a little more of an aggressive sound to my stock 930. What kind of exhaust options are there? 1987 930 Guards Red

I have a used Monty that I'm getting rid of. Nice deep sound. I needs to be welded in one spot. $250 shipped. I can take pics if you want.

the borla twin pipe has a really nice sound to it.
not too loud but it does wake up my neighbor the judge. he does not mind, says he has to get up. he is quite funny, he asks where his alarm clock is when I dotn drive the car for a while. there was a nice borla for sale a little while back, nice price. I almost bought as a spare. when I don't run the borla I have a home made zork. my brother has 2 of rarelyl8' mufflers (and header). they are about like the zork

I am running an exhaust that has no muffler. It comes off the turbo, and makes a 90 degree turn, then out on the drivers side. It sounds awesome. It has a nice tone to it during idle, and not too loud with just driving around town, but when you really get on it it is LOUD. I think this has more to do with my wastegate not having a muffler on it at all.

I just got a used R-8 muff,although it being used still looks bad to the bone.The quality is another thing all together it looks like it should be on a gsxr 1100,rriippp.

RarlyL8 headers with heat and a Hooligan muffler on mine. Very happy with the sound and more importantly the quality of the parts.

Wow, thanks for the response gents! I'm presently holed up in a ski cabin for the week with sketchy internet access. Just checked my thread and am overwhelmed.
I'm looking for mainly oem level sound but more aggressive. Overall my car is stock and I want to keep it that way. No zork for me. A center exit would be amazing for the esthetics. Budget...lower is better of course since our Canadian exchange rate sucks right now but say $2K max? 1987 930 Guards Red
