Finished my turbo engine up for this season and I've been doing some tuning. Comparison; first vid is from today, second video is old setup. Build specs below each video.

Thanks for the comments, a work in progress obviously!
Whine is from straight cut gears as Costa mentioned. The GT40 is a bit large for the car and I haven't really turned the boost up yet. I may not until I get ITBs, I want to be damn certain each head is getting equal air fuel. To compare, it spools almost identically as my baby k29, a bit sooner but not much. It has the potential to flow much more, I'm running less boost and there is definitely more power. My pancake manifold is my biggest restriction, it will be next to go.

A big fat update
After much work this winter, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. A lot of time has gone into this to make it look as clean as possible. More to come!
** I was asked if the front of the quarters are open, they are! Probably put a transmission cooler on one side and something else fun on the other! ![]() ![]()
