Dougherty said $1049 to me about 16 months ago, so somewhere in that ballpark.

So, the car is back together and running nicely but now, I can't help myself. The only upgrade done so far was the 85mm 9.4:1 pistons and barrels.

So, checked in with Dougherty and they can do DC30's in about two weeks. I have also found the guy in Italy who makes 30mm venturis for my zeniths.

What jetting should I change to?

I would start with 130 main jets. But you will only know what is correct by using an exhaust analyzer.

You may, or I should say should, seriously consider K&N air cleaners and a sport muffler. You will be surprised how much more power those will add.

You can't go wrong with any of the Dansk Sport mufflers. You have six jets.

I have stockish 2.2T with rebuilt Zeniths ,running 125 mains,52 idles and 30mm vents, stock pump jets and air correctors ,starts and runs nice .
Don't believe the stories about lack of parts supply for these carbs,alfa1750 has pretty much everything for them now.

I assume your heads were resurfaced which will increase your CR slightly higher than the stated 9.4/1

Be careful running too lean with whatever jet combo you use. higher CR plus high temp = detonation. Lean is fast but rich is safe.

The DC 30's will help with this as there is more overlap and real CR is reduced but VE (volumetric efficiency) is increased. You will see.....huge difference at 4K+ RPM's. Recommend the S rotor with 7300 rpm rev limiter.

I also had the 2 in one out Dansk Sport Muffler. No complaints.

May I point out the original response to this question: Solex (or L/E if you prefer) from Elgin will make a nice little motor. A slightly different feel from "modern" (better, in theory) grinds. Just a little more "snarly-raspy". Plus, Dema Elgin has forgotten more about camshafts than most guys will ever know, and he's a delight to talk to.
