Air injector plugs for 68 2.0L heads

The air injector holes in my heads are 12mm with what appears to be a 1.25mm pitch.

Has anyone else looked for plugs this size? Has anyone found plugs this size?

"off the shelf" plugs seem to be 1.5 pitch but perhaps you could make plugs from 12 x 1.25 full threaded socket head cap screws or 12 x1.25 set screws if sealing on the threads is sufficient. See the on-line catalog at this website:

Thanks for the site! I was having a lot of trouble finding a M12x1.25 in a socket head.

So I ordered some M12x1.25 socket head cap screws only to find I did not measure the thread pitch correctly. The air injectors are even finer thread, probably M12x1.0. I have been able to find taps with this thread, so I guess I will search for a die and make some plugs.

air injector plugs are usually 10mm dia with 1mm pitch.

...and it's nice if they are tapered as well. I tried using a straight thread and blew a plug out in 500 miles. That was sealed with red loctite, too!

I got my tapered plugs from jhelgesen on this board. It might be worth PMing him with specs to see if he has what you need.
