				Turbocharging A 911 SC

G'day Team... I have a few questions regarding turbocharging a 911 SC: 1. Where is the best position for the turbocharger oil drain, back into the engine? 2. Is it necessary to have a scavenge pump to pump the oil back to the engine from the turbocharger, since the turbocharger is low compared to the height of the engine? 3. Has anyone modified (removed material from) the standard CIS pistons to reduce the compression ratio (for use as turbo pistons)? 4. What is the best position for knock sensor(s)? Regards Mike (just getting into this Porsche engine debacle) | ||

go to technical section (outside of engine building forum) and do a search. You'll find one very long and active threads along with many other. It will cover old installations to more modern theories with photos. Worth the time if even considering such an adventure.

Lots of posts/pics in the Tech Section... do a search for "gravity drain".
