Cost was $300 for the basic service, then additional charges for the shims, teflon rubbing plate, new springs, gasket and associated stuff. Including shipping from Detroit it was about $430. He did a great job, took about a week to do it, and called me four or five times to verify what I wanted (stock 911E curve). Certainly there are options with the curves, more advance sooner, more at top end etc., but I chose to stay absolutely stock not just for rules compliance but being mindful of the need for good off-throttle performance. It's an E, after all, not an S-- coming out of the corners is where speed is found.

I think he did a good job, can't wait to get it in the car.
