Oil lines
Hey all, I am installing my back dated oil lines tomorrow in conjunction with the ssi's I finally bought. I managed, some how, to get the lines off the thermostat and engine case with out buggering up the threads. My question now is, is there anything I should be careful with during the install? Do I need to worry about ruining the case? Are there any tricks to help keep these connections oil tight? The engine is a stock 83 3.0 liter.
Any input is appreciated!

*Don't break the exhaust studs removing the old HE, if you haven't don that yet.
*A little anti seize on the oil lines threads, but clean on the sealing surface, no problem getting them oil tight.

Oil lines
Thanks Magnus! The exchangers were the easy part. I replaced the originals a few years back and anti-seized the studs liberally!

Be prepared to have to bend the new under trans. oil line to fit if it was sourced from Pelican.
I ended up with this exact problem when I did mine. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911-technical-forum/746299-ssi-installation-setback.html
