Only recently have I begun to shoot my Henry Golden Boy in .22lr, and it suits me just fine
. Using up my older assorted stuff as it began to appear on the shelves around here, and it's still hit or miss but better. At Wallyworld, they'll still be rare, but at around 7, 8 per round (Winchester, Federal....haven't seen CCI). I've seen decent quantities of CCI at Gander Mtn., at .08/rd, but held off....Field & Stream has LOTS of CCI and others at .10/rd. Follow the money....
Btw...I've been shooting my Marlin in .357 too...just isn't the same as the old .30-30 though.
