I just bought one of these. CAREFULLY READ ALL SPECS.
what I found is the 3500 is too short for the lift points on my 911 and 944. as all my cars that I wrench on are <3500lb, did not realize I needed the 5000 for length.
since I had fully assembled before I tried to use, I have a plan to fabricate a large gauge angle iron frame to sit on top that is long enough to reach the lift points on the cars. will post pics and info when I get around to doing that.
I still think it will serve my purposes.
