Yea, AC in Michigan is nice but only needed a few weeks of the year. Houston and Phoenix would both be sleepy little communities with a few hundred residents if it were not for AC.
I lived in Oklahoma in 1967 and we had no AC at all. I never once went to a school with AC, not one in all the 11 different schools is numerous states. Now days they cancel school if the AC is not working properly because the precious snowflakes might sweat or melt.
I can remember the sweat dripping off of my nose onto more than a few tests I was taking. in school and having to sleep outside on the porch to be able to sleep.
