measure both yourself and the jeans
just because the label said 32x30 don't mean it is that size or even close
to flatter fat americans sizing creeps up and can vary a couple of inches
but allways over size seldom under
plus some styles are different in the cut/fit
and prewashed jeans do not shrink much
I try to crude measure pants before trying them on
by hold them from seam to seam against the pants I am wearing
you will see a 32 is a rare find that is actually 32'' more likely a 33 34 or 35
anybody paying a grand for jeans is nuts
and $100 jeans are not my fashion statement
good old levi's are fine for me
