the 3m spray is what they actually use in the repair shop at the dealership, too, but the head mechanic told me to go to the upholstry shop. The contact cement is what is on the car originally and I think it is easier to apply than the spray (you use a brush instead of a big spray can, just seems easier and cleaner... never tried the spray though)
