Growing up in KY in the 60s and 70s, the only "sports cars" were Mustangs, Camaros and Corvettes. Since moving back here last year, that still seems to hold, with the Mustang the clear favorite - if a guy here in his 20s doesn't drive a truck, he drives a Mustang. We've got a smattering of the new Camaros, the occasional Challenger, but they're very outnumbered by Fords.

The Porsche mystique still holds though - a kid at work has a base 986 w/hardtop that impresses everyone; they refuse to believe he spent less than they did on their domestics.
