I looked again very closely at my horn set up and I'm now sure my car is only set up for a drivers side mounting with brackets welded directly to the battery box. The pasenger side has no brackets and never did.

The bracket that does hold my horn seems to be able to accomodate only one trumpet, (Perhaps you Essers got 2 trumpets and the lowly T's only rated one? ) and yes I agree that the color is closer red. Regarless, my horn sounds fine to me.

While looking in the passenger wheel well for horn minutia, I also noticed an unused wiring harness sort of laying on top of the battery box, it was wrapped neatly in electrical tape and seemed to be about a foot long at least...hard to tell as it was folded and taped.
What was this used for? Fog lights I'm guessing (I have none)

This car is quite a survivor, and it shows underneath, as the chassis and undercoating looks almost new, even all the cheap thin black paint used on many places underneath is intact. The guy I bought it from said it was never driven in the wet, and while I believed it in a general sort of way, I'm now convinced that It was absolutely NEVER driven in the wet.
