nvr2mny - Since you called me a liar on public forum why don't ask Aaron how many months the black 1978 911SC was sitting in his shop before he asked me to pick it up again.
I dropped my car off with Aaron at BHR over six months ago. They were supposed to start working on it last October and they "never got around to it". A few weeks ago Aaron told me he did not want to do the work - after holding my car for six months. He thought it would take him 30+ hours and he told me he prefers doing engine rebuilds. He would also NOT recommend any other mechanics in the KC area so I am a little lost on what to do.
I agree this is not normal for BHR but that is what happened. Ask Aaron yourself or don't call me a liar.
Everyone else - Thank you very much for the suggestions. Hoping to secure a good mechanic this week and get my car running again.
