Mirror has three parts the fixed mount on the door and "two piece" plastic insert with the glass glued to it. Glue gets old and the mirror often just falls out leaving the plastic holder tray.
If you have a smooth plastic tray in the mount, then the glass fell out.
If you have a metal tray with three holes for the plastic tray to fit into, then its ready for a replacement tray/mirror.
