Yea, I pretty much talked myself out of the oil change. It is a two year old clean engine and the oil is clean. It has not had high oil temps at all so it should be fine.

I changed the oil in the 911 just before this past weekend's Targa California. Semi-bugged me that it was only about 1800 miles since the last oil change. But I really wanted to get the valves checked, as it had been something like 14K miles for those things. Figured it was better to make sure all was fit before flogging the car along backroads for 1000 miles.
