Porsche had to change to stay relevant in today's market. Sadly volume is more important than perceived quality.
Even a modern Rolls-Royce has issues that would've been unheard of before BMW bought them. (Failing trim, Not so perfect paint etc.)
Personally I like that they don't hassle you in the dealership.
