I sure remember the thread......... and thank goodness, when I take my old "White Dog" 77 airhead out to play, which, admittedly, is not very often...........I still drive it that same way, finding that when playing in the tighter stuff..........I can keep the airhead's, heads, higher off the pavement if I try and let my body mass contact point remain as low on the moving bike as possible while apexing a given corner. I do this by learning to use the inside peg as a mass point contact during those moments of more lean.
I surely know how to weight the outside peg.........but seldom need to because of the bikes I ride. A upright inline, UJM, four cylinder with its cam and valve system placed high on the bike, can require that one shift quickly in the tight stuff, from a inside weight to a outside weight, because the arc of movement that the heaver bike weight up top requires......means a swing suddenly back another direction......and one can help this occur by getting weight or mass point to the outside peg. Thanks for the memory sharing and all the images its reimposes. Thoughts?
