that's the primary thing about harleys that makes me giggle.
there's lot of them around here (military town) and those boys often race each other off the light.
the amount of thunder doesn't match anything even remotely close to the speed of lightning.
lots and lots and lots of noise, yet the forward motion...well...it's one of those "wait for it....." things.
they're still fun to ride though. you can make all that noise, but everything including acceleration, still occurs in a deep south, kicked back, mellow mode.
