Hooch our yellow lab mix blew his right rear out when he was a couple of years old . It was a complete tear . Our vet restrung his leg . It was a challenge for him for 2 or 3 weeks . Then he got accustomed to his restrictions and dealt with it pretty well . About a year latter he did the same to the other side .
He knew how to deal with the second one and handled it very well. He went the rest of his life with little to no issues . If anything he got a little arthritic in the last couple of years . It was well worth the repair bill .
