Brake lights out
Brake lights stopped working. Pulled both brake switch plugs from pressure switches on Master and jumped green/blue to black/yellow. I have 12v on both sides with jumper, 12v at green/blue female without jumper, all with key on. Have 12v at fuse as well. The brake lights do not come on with jumper wire in place. However, when I turn on headlights, the brake lightbulb illuminates on that second filament. I pulled both brake light bulbs, top and bottom filaments appear to be solid, then re-installed the bulbs.
The many threads on this general issue point to the pressure switches being bad if the lights come on when jumpered. I have 12v when jumpered but no brake lights. I assume the running lights filament is on a different power circuit but the same ground so have not traced a ground. I am not clear on testing the brake light bulb socket to see if the 12v arrives from the switch jumpered in the frunk.
Any troubleshooting tips would be greatly appreciated.
