We are thinking about going to a sand filter setup. Supposedly, it will save money in the long run as you will use less chemicals to keep the pool clean.
Ours is just an above ground one that you can buy at most stores.
Ideally, an inground would be the ticket but big $$$. We only get hot days for 3 months so the investment is hard to justify. Yeah, it would raise the property value but still....
