#year old info , fwiw; the best australian produce i've seen for a very long time was out front of greengrocers there; our meat and kiwi dairy will be available too, at a price
there was Fern & Kiwi at the entrance to the Clarke Quay precinct that if still there would surely cater to your tourists,
but for mine - why travel if not to eat locally?
(everything is fantastic but on Orchard, opp. Central, Peranakan Place was good, Newton Circus (?IIRC) is where the once-were-hawkers are housed and thriving, Little India was kinda depressing but the Arab Qtr, esp. Haji and Bali Lanes, were cooler than Melbourne (wink)
