If I was you I would stop driving the car untill you find out wheres the gas smell is coming from. First, make sure it's not coming from the Fuel rail or fuel line because you will have a fire soon. Just
STOP runing the car untill you find where it's from. I had a bad experence when I smelled gas from a car and keep runing it and it cought on fire. Big lost!!!
This 944 cought on fire! This is the side that the fire will happen. This is comon on all 944 because the Fuel line that goes to the Fuel rail is right by the exhaust manifoid. I check my fuel lines every week.
