Big Pharma and all the designer drugs it creates and markets is one of the canaries in the coal mine that our country has completely lost its way.
The cost of creating these drugs and marketing them is one reason our healthcare costs are so high. If Pfizer spends $1B on developing and marketing a drug, and it doesn't do well, corporate profits have to come from somewhere.
Drug advertising should be banned.
