Ahhh, I do love my 1996 Chevy 1500 4x4 with 5 speed manual transmission with only 123000 miles. Since owning it new, I only blew up the motor once shooting a rod thru the pan because a internal leak of antifreeze.
Drove it to Portland and back a few weeks ago and got 19.5 mpg, not bad running it hard 85 mph up hwy 84 and 97.
