Mine happened at the grocery store too.
I was a couple deep in line when a slightly mentally handicapped boy in his teens was buying a slim jim and Gatorade. He put his change on the conveyor belt. Before anyone could do anything nearly 2 dollars of penny's, dimes, and nickles went into the depths of the machine. After fishing out all the money the young woman at the register found the kid was short, not by a lot but she reached into her own pocket and pulled out enough to cover the rest of the tab.
I don't know if intervening in Karma counts for this thread, but I intervened and made sure Karma did it's thing that day.
