I also forget almost all of the good kharma stories, just fond memories at our pumpkin patch. One does stand out though. During November, we put on a Christmas tree lot. A lady comes by and donates a beautiful 10' tree. I promise to find a worthy family. We move it inside, and keep it watered all month long. A few days before Christmas, after receiving numerous offers to sell it, a Ukrainan family is on the rides, and the daughter starts to ask about our prices. I ask "is that your mom out there?". She says yes. I say "is that your dad and little brother out there"? She say "yes". I say "I have your tree". They immigrated to the United States to find a better life. They make a living painting church ceilings. I mean, full on Michaelangelo Sistine Chapel type scenes with angels, Jesus, etc. Unbelievable talent. They kept that tree until the following year. They called it the Miracle Tree. I ran into them later and they still remembered me that Summer. They said they'd paint some stuff for my Arco AM/PM store when we get it built and open for business.
