My son was a counselor/camp leader for special needs kids for the past eight summers.
One of his camp kids is graduating from high-school this year, and wants to go to her prom, but has to be chaperoned. The girls mother asked my son to be her 'escort' so the girl would not feel awkward chaperoned by her mother. She said she would pay him if that helped.
My son is delaying his holiday cottage weekend and taking the girl to her prom (for free).
As payment for being a good kid I have 'secured' a nice convertible for my son to take to prom and keep for the weekend.
