I still can't believe that we are done with Memorial Day already.
The kids' school is having field day where they play games and contests My daughter has her running shoes on and is ready to go. My son doesn't join in the fun, though. He is not athletic and struggles with competition. I told him, based on his grades, he should stay in the building and study.
They both want to leave early after the games so I may let them. They have perfect attendance and if it won't affect it, I don't see the big deal. The teachers have pretty much checked out anyway.
