Here an example why (together with other things) it takes that long to make progress. As I wanted to improve insulation especially at the tranny tunnel, I made a 4mm thick peace here. Taking measurements and making a cardboard "tester" took 2 hours! Another 30 minutes later, it's mounted:
Not only due the fact of the stiffer behaviour with 4mm I will cover the rest of this area with same softer cork like used in the engine bay before.
