That's a great story about paying for everything but it doesn't exist now (for the most part).
Even with a 20% scholarship, I would have needed to earn $160k while going to school from age 18-22 to pay for education myself, another several hundred thousand to pay for 75% down. Even at 20% down at age 27 it was still a big deal.
