I sent important papers via USPS CERTIFIED, WITH TRACKING, RETURN RECEIPT. I couldn't send it insured because the paperwork had no monetary "value".
It got lost The postmaster basically said "so sad, too bad, here's what you paid for the postage".

Go registered. Certified is ****. They throw certified in with dps "the automatic sorting machine" and who knows where it ends up.
Tracking just means it gets scanned, and return receipt is completely junk as no one ever fills it out, or signs their name legible.
Btw express is free when it's not delivered on time. I have seen many birds on three day late expresses still delivered. Suckers stink up a post office like a whore house in San Fran.
To the op I bet it shows up. As long as it's not scanned as delivered, or the address was torn off. It's floating through post offices miss sent bins...
