Ali didn't stand up to the war. He just refused to go himself. Lots of folks had medical or educational deferments (including Ali). It seems you prefer the cowardly lawbreakers to those that were judged physically incapable and could not serve.

There is absolutely no way Ali's IQ was 78. Maybe standardized testing had serious cultural bias but 78? No way.
