To be honest, the sign is totally clear to me (normally you read from left to right).
Stairs to the right, elevator to the left.
Maybe we dont need that exact guidance in Europe, we are used to use our brain. (Its green! Its green!
)
And nobody wastes a thought about the look of the icons IN the elevator but in America.
