So very sorry for your loss. Give it some time, and then go rescue another. There are thousands waiting for a caring person to take them in.
We lost two JRTs within 18 months, the oldest was 19 and the other was 16.
We waited about 8 months before rescuing Max--he's been home with us for a month and he is settling in nicely.
