Help me pick the best route home
I am here at Porsche Parade in Jay Peak, Vermont. We have driven the 911 over 3000 miles to get here and we hit all the New England states which was the goal.
Soon we will need to start the trek home to Oklahoma City. Direct and fast as possible. No more sight seeing, just get there.
It is 1,650 miles or so using the GPS or Google Earth. The way to get there varies a lot. That is what I would like help planning.
I don't have an EZ-pass so any toll routes in the NE will be with cash, and unless there is a solid reason to use one I would like to avoid them. Once we get to Oklahoma, the turnpike from MO, to home is no big deal since I have the Pikepass for Oklahoma.
What route would you recommend. One route goes close or through Chicago, another Detroit. Another goes through a lot of Canada.
OK you road warriors, what say you?
