Whine from passenger rear wheel well
I started my 1987 924S tonight and there was a whine coming from the passenger rear wheel well. The whine was intermittent and not at all dependent on whether the car was moving or not. By the time I got home, the whine had stopped, so I couldn't pin point the location of the whine.
What are your thoughts? Is the whine likely coming from the fuel pump? If it is coming from the fuel pump, how long do I have before the pump quits entirely and leaves me stranded somewhere?
