Hi all
i just bought a new bursch muffler (from PP!) for my 75 2.0, but find that my EGR line (the aluminum-looking pipe) doesn't line up with the new muffler. rather, the EGR line is over near the passenger-rear wheel, where it attached to my old exhaust.
has anyone had luck "bending" this pipe into place? it doesn't seem to want to go anywhere, but wonder if i may coax it into place with the help of a torch.
or, could i just block the damn thing off? how about removing the whole EGR system? i know this wouldn't pass the visual inspection for the smog test -- this is hypothetial only....
although i technically won't ever need another smog test before it becomes exempt.
any advice appreciated.
