Bought a "Bosch Premium Performance Battery Group Size H6/L3/48" as they have a 25% off deal going on for batteries at Pep Boys. Got it home, took out the old, started installing and
it's backwards!
Considered just flipping the battery with positive near front of the car, but the wires are not long enough. Wrestled it in - and now the battery posts are closer to the fender rather than the trunk. The battery is in SOLID using the standard mount.
Do I need to be concerned about the positive post being about 1.5" from side of car? There is actually a plastic cover between the post / wire and the wall and it's not going anywhere - but wanted some opinions.
NOTE: I do see they make a right and left battery but I don't think they have it at my Pep Boys.
